KARIM HAGEALI, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Karim Hageli joins Global Vision Eye Care with 20 years experience in the Eye Care industry. Most recently, Karim was Executive Director of Operations for the Retina Institute of California where he managed operations for three of the company's brands: Retina Institute, California Eye and California Lasik Center. During his time at Retina Institute he managed over 20 regional supervisors, all sales representatives for outside co-managed care and the optical division with eleven dispensaries. He also spearheaded the direct to consumer initiative, which generated 1.6 million in new revenue that was a new revenue source for the company.
Karim also has extensive experience in operations management for Lasik Eye Centers'. He managed operation for two of the largest Lasik providers in California and the West Coast; Laser Eye Center and NVision Centers/Lasik Today.

Karim received his Bachelors degree from the University of Beirut and is fluent in English, Spanish and Arabic. Growing up, Karim has lived in several different Countries and enjoys traveling with his wife and two children.
ALBERT GARCIA, CLINIC MANAGER
Albert Garcia is a seasoned eye care professional who has worked for some of the largest eye care companies in Southern California. Most recently, Albert managed Opthalmology and Retina clinics for California Eye & Ear and the Retina Institute of California. In his capacity as Clinic Manager, Albert managed a staff of techs and support staff for one of the companies largest and busiest clinic locations.

Additionally, Albert helped spearhead the launch of California Lasik Center; one of the companies largest and most ambitious initiatives at the time.
​
Albert is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. He's an avid Los Angeles sports fan and enjoys attending Dodger and Laker games with his two adorable daughters.
PATTY PADILLA, DIRECTOR of SURGICAL LOGISTICS
Patty is a healthcare professional with over 15 years experience. She has spend her entire career in the field of eye healthcare serving in several capacities. Most recently, she worked at the Eye Institute of Tarzana were she assisted physicians by triaging patients at assisted living and rehabilitation centers throughout Los Angeles.

She began her career in eye care as an Ophthalmic Tech for Buena Vista Medical Group and Retina Vitreous Associates Medical Group. During her time with both organizations she worked as a tech and assisted physicians in diagnosing eye disease. She also coordinated surgery schedules for surgeons at both organizations.
​
Patty is a native Angelino and is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Her true passion is her family; she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and extended family.
MIRNA HAJJALI, DIRECTOR of ACCOUNTING
Mirna joins Global Vision Eye Care as the Director of Accounting after several years working in the accounting field for small and large businesses. While studying at California State University Northridge, Mirna was an excellent student and made the Dean's List for five semesters. She also interned for the US Tax Department at Ernst & Young in London, England were she processed employee tax documents.

Mirna is currently working toward her CPA, Certified Public Accountant, and will complete her degree within the next year.
​
Mirna graduated from California State University Northridge with a Bachelors degree in Accounting. Mirna in fluent in Arabic and enjoys volunteering in her free time for organizations such as, Altadena Public Library and as a teachers assistant at New Horizon School.
CORINA MEJIA, SURGERY CENTER SUPERVISOR
Corina joins Global Vision Eye Care as Surgery Center Supervisor for Raymond Rennisance Surgery Center in Pasadena. With over 12 years experience, her expertise covers a wide range of areas in the surgery center including, as a surgical technologist, preparation and sterilization, and supply management. Most recently, Corina worked as a sterile processing Technician for Kaiser Permanente (Kelly Heathcare). In addition, she worked as a surgical technologist at the M/S Surgery Center.

Corina is a military veteran who proudly served in the United States Navy.
​
Corina is origianlly from Los Angeles and is bilingual in English and in Spanish. While away from Corina enjoys spending time with her children.
NORMA LARIOS, CREDENTIALING & HUMAN RESOURCES
Norma Larios is one of the longest tenured employee at Children's Retina Institute/Global Vision Eye Care. She has almost 30 years experience in the field working for some of the largest Ophthalmology practices in Los Angeles. Norma has a wealth of knowledge in eye care and has experience in several capacities during her career, including positions as an Ophthalmic Technician, Surgery Coordinator, Billing and Coding Specialist, and Credentialing and Human Resources Specialist.
​
In her current capacity, Norma oversees Credentialing and is the Director of Human Resource for all Global Vision Eye Care entities, including Children's Retina Institute, Raymond Renaissance Surgery Center, and Golden State Eye Group.
​
Away from the office Norma enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
